Ibn Taymiyyah says:

“So, after knowing what the messenger has come with, we know by necessity that he has not legislated for his nation to call upon anyone from the dead, not the prophets, the righteous ones, or anyone other than them; not in the wording of Isthighatha or other than it, and not in the wording of Isti'anah or other than it. Just like how he has not legislated for his nation to prostrate to the dead, to one that isn't dead, or the likes of that. Rather, we know that he has forbidden us from all these affairs, and this is from amongst the Sh*rk that Allah and his messenger forbade. But due to the increase of ignorance and lack of knowledge of the Athar of the message amongst many of those who came later on, Takf*r can't be done on them until what the mesenger came with becomes clear to them from that which opposes it.” الاستغاثة ٤١١

Only seekh help from Allah alone period!!!

If it is not in Quran then not in Islam.

Lol 😂 you write this big story and Quran destroyed by saying

Surah Al-Imran (3:173)

“Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel.”

Translation: “Sufficient for us is Allah,

Please take the Islam out of your Article..

You have written article on Sunni and Shia Religion but not Islam.

Actually the correct translation of Quran 3:173 is “Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs”

Clearly you don’t even know how to read the Quran or English for that matter.

Quran 2:154

“Do NOT say that those martyred in the cause of Allah are dead—in fact, they are ALIVE! But you do not perceive it”

You are a Wahhabi

How do you know they are martyred and Allah permits istighatha with them, u are a fool as Andani.

Just give Quranic reference and from Sunnah for the permission of calling help from dead.

The ultimate intellectual insult is demanding that a rational believer bypass a thousand years of brilliant, unified Islamic scholarship just to follow an 18th-century tribal ideologue. We are told to cast aside intellectual giants like Imam Al-Shafi’i, Imam Al-Nawawi, and Imam Al-Ghazali—men who spent their lives building a vast, sophisticated tradition of jurisprudence and spiritual depth—in favor of a man whose primary claim was that true Islam had vanished until he revived it.

A cursory look at history reveals that the foundations of Wahhabism were laid not in scholarly debate, but in unprecedented bloodshed and the systematic excommunication (Takfir) of the mainstream Muslim world. Modern Salafism inherits this exact Takfiri DNA, yet operates in deep hypocrisy: they eagerly brand the global Ummah as practitioners of major polytheism (Shirk), yet lack the theological courage to follow their own doctrine to its logical conclusion and openly declare them disbelievers (Kafir).

The ultimate historical irony remains inescapable: by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab’s own uncompromising standards of chain-Takfir, even his intellectual idol, Ibn Taymiyyah, would be cast out of the fold of Islam for refusing to weaponize excommunication against the masses. Modern Salafism is a theology that logically eats its own tail.

So, let the line be drawn. If the billions of Muslims who preceded us—including the blessed Sahaba, the luminous Tabi'un, the universally respected Imams of the Madhabs, the masters of Hadith and Aqeedah, and the countless Awliya like Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani—are considered polytheists and disbelievers in your estimation, then close their ledger and count me among them. I would rather stand in eternity with the vast, unbroken ocean of Islamic history than sit in the suffocating fortress of a modern sect.

The danger of misrepresentation and “false advertising”. The heading states “Sunni scholars Who permit instigatha” and then the first 3 (and majority) of examples you give are just STATEMENTS from these people/scholars, rather than rulings/fiqh.

If I say “I smoke cigarettes” am I permitting smoking cigarettes in Islam? No. Intellectual dishonesty at its finest. I pray Allah guides you and all of us to the correct path.
